We are drawing to the close of a very busy year! I am grateful to have a little extra time with the family over the next few weeks. Most of our December meetings are on Sundays and Wednesdays, and we look forward to being with several churches. As always, we are grateful for your prayers and hope to see many of you soon. It would be a joy to hear from your family during this season. May God help us all to finish 2017 strong in the Lord! Our April Itinerary

Scott Pauley Preaching

The last few days of March will be very busy. We are excited about the opportunities before us in April. Only the Lord knows how long we have to serve Him – Jesus could come today! Until then, we want to be faithful in the work of revival and the gospel. Several folks have asked about our itinerary recently. Although we have tentatively scheduled meetings well into the future, we only post our schedule online about 60 days out. If you have a question about meetings beyond what is posted please feel free to email us at any time. It has been a joy to reunite with so many friends while on the road. God bless you for your continued prayers for…

Will You Do This In the Morning?

Enjoying the Journey blog square

In recent years I have come to realize the importance of the morning hours. There is something special about the quiet – and the coffee! – before the noise of the day. God desires, and deserves, the first. (Read more about the blessing of early mornings.) A friend once said to me that it was his practice not to speak to any man in the morning until first he had spoken to the Lord. David wrote in Psalm 5:3, “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” Most people look at their phones as soon as they awake. We look in the mirror. We look at…

May Ministry Itinerary and Update

God is at work all over our world. When He declared that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse” He did not say that He would do less and less! In perilous times His power is still active. It has been a thrill to see the Lord’s hand in so many places in recent weeks. I am writing this update in the Toronto International Airport. My heart has been so encouraged over the last few days to witness the beautiful work of the Holy Spirit! On this trip to Canada I have been reminded again of the power of the gospel and the need for revival. Several hundred men gathered here in Ontario to seek the Lord. There…

Ministry Update and February Itinerary

Tomorrow we will finish our first month of full-time evangelistic work. The Lord has been so wonderful to us. We are truly grateful for many friends who have expressed interest in the work God has called us to do. I am increasingly aware of the need for intercessory prayer and want to thank you for praying for us. I am convinced that there is no problem in our nation that the gospel of Jesus Christ could not fix, and there is no need in our churches that a Heaven sent revival would not meet. These are exciting days to serve the Lord. We are laboring on the edge of eternity and time is short. In the opening weeks of 2016…

8 Words That Have Helped Me Get More Done

We all have 1,440 minutes in a day.  Try as you might, it is impossible to add time!  It is possible, however, to make a wiser investment of the time that you have.  Paul was led of the Holy Spirit to tell us twice about “redeeming the time” ( Eph. 5:16; Col. 4:5). Are you spending your life or investing it? This means more than proper “time management.” Life is about emphasis. A divinely ordered life and ministry will help you place the emphasis on that which is eternal. Order is more than organization. Recently I shared with a group of our youth ministry majors at Crown College 8 simple words that have helped me be a wiser steward of the…

Lessons God Is Teaching Me about My Family – Part 1

The kids are growing up so quickly.  At the same time I feel like I am getting old so quickly!  Life moves along at a rapid pace and God is teaching me many things.  I am not the husband or father that I should be.  More and more I thank God for the wife that He has given to me and the mother that she is to our three children. Our home is not perfect.  No home is.  Every day the Holy Spirit is showing me areas that we need to work on.  I would like to share a few things that God is teaching me.  These are not the words of a teacher.  They are the words of a…
