Enjoying the Journey
Do you have a favorite portion of Scripture?
One of my Bible teachers used to say that his favorite passage of Scripture was the one he was studying at the time. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable…” (2 Timothy 3:16). Jesus said it this way, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
Every word. We need it all. And yet at specific places along life’s path you will find that particular Scriptures take on special meaning. Some of those will stay with you for a lifetime.
Philippians 3 is that chapter for me. When I was just a teenager God began to use these powerful verses in my life. Twenty five years later they minister to me in an even deeper way.
The Word of God is wonderful that way. It is like a rich mine that you never exhaust. A deep well that never runs dry.
Today on the “Enjoying the Journey” podcast we begin to walk through Philippians 3. I look forward to sharing the truths God has been teaching me and would love to have you join me in this study. The first episode is now available and a new 10 minute broadcast is posted daily.
There are several ways to join the study:
