Just off our final phone conference with all of the pastors who worked together for the God Bless America Rally. We give God all glory for what He did! Through the door to door work, evangelistic outreach events, literature distribution, rallies, and radio & web we saw more than 300 precious souls profess faith in Christ during this effort. Thank you for all who prayed, gave, and labored. Pray with us for fruit that remains and the work of Christ to advance.

Have enjoyed preaching these three days on “Things That Last” from 1 Corinthians 13:13. God’s Word is so simple and yet so rich. What unsettled people in a changing world need is the eternal God! Faith. Hope. Love.

Tammy and I enjoyed speaking with dear friends and especially dad and mom the last few days. We had such a refreshing time with preachers and their wives in the Rest Conference. The Holy Spirit ministered deeply to us all. Hope you can make plans to join us next year!

Scott and Melanie Hooks have been our faithful friends for 22 years. Tammy and I always enjoy being together with them and tonight we had a wonderful start to this year’s Rest conference. (The two Scotts don’t look nearly as good in pictures so we thought we would just let the girls represent us! 😁)

It was a personal blessing to be with longtime friends and former students all day in TX. Pastor Tyler Gillit and those helping him are being used of God at Worth Baptist. 4 meetings today. Wonderful to see several souls saved and real stirring in the church! So encouraging.

Morgan and Isaac were engaged this summer and both

Morgan and Isaac were engaged this summer and both of them are headed back to college today. Tammy and I are excited to have Isaac in our family! (Lauren and Grant are pretty happy about it too. 😁) This is their last year of school and, God willing, they will be married in January. We are very grateful for answered prayer. Thank you for praying for them as they follow the Lord’s will for their lives. #newseason

Today we celebrate the 70th birthday of the greatest man I know. Dad has shown me what a husband and father is supposed to be. He is a faithful man and has been my best friend since I was a boy. I am grateful to call him dad. Love you, dad!

Lauren has had a great summer serving in a Christian camp in MI. She flew down to join me for the youth meeting yesterday and we are traveling home together today. Sure love this girl and proud of her!

Blessed to preach this Sunday for my long-time friend Pastor Tom Sexton. 32 years ago today they started the Gulf Coast Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL. Still going strong for Jesus and consumed with getting the gospel out. Lord, give us more like this!
