A Special Prayer Request
I do not normally publish a post on the Lord’s day, but today I have a special prayer need to share with you. In just a few hours we will leave for India. Much prayer and preparation have gone into the next few days. Our team has been praying specific Scripture and definite prayers as we have prepared. Would you join us in these prayers? Pray that we will be clean, usable vessels (2 Timothy 2:21). Pray that God would give us safety and strength (Matthew 10:16-32). Pray for good ground for the gospel (Mark 4:20). The Apostle Paul rarely ever ministered alone. For each gospel advance he enlisted and engaged a missionary team. In his words, “we are labourers together with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9). Some plant. Some water. God gives the increase. This is a gospel team at work. In January we are conducting an evangelistic crusade in India. A large number of Hindus will attend these meetings and we are praying for the power of Christ to be seen in the salvation of souls. I am personally excited about this gospel preaching mission.
