Help Us Spread The Gospel
I love the gospel. It was the good news of Jesus Christ that changed my life and my eternal destiny! Every good thing in my life grows out of the gospel. Day after day I am witnessing the power of the gospel to change hearts and homes. It is the only true light for our nation and the only lasting hope for this generation. Several months ago the Lord led me to write a gospel tract, Would You Like A New Start? Watch the brief story behind the tract here. Over the last few weeks I have met two people who looked at the question on the front of the tract and said the same words: “I need this!” They were different people – one…

The second Amendment of the United States Constitution states the right of American citizens “to keep and bear arms.” In 1791 our forefathers saw the need for people to defend their own liberties against tyranny. From the beginning of our nation an armed citizenry was connected to freedom. The goal was not death but preserving a way of life. What a vivid illustration of the spiritual warfare that believers are engaged in. The greatest tyrant of all, the devil, seeks to bring men into bondage and keep them there. One of my desires was to publish something related to the gospel before publishing other works. The message of Christ is the greatest message on earth! In the words of a divinely inspired evangelist and writer, “it is the power of God unto salvation” (Romans 1:16). I have just completed a brand new gospel tract that we are praying will be used of…
Read MoreThe Power of a Personal Letter
Recently I was sitting in my study at home when my oldest daughter came in and proudly announced, “Dad, I am about to write my first letter.” She is thirteen. How is that possible? Now, she has written cards, short notes, and plenty of text messages – but a letter? Letter writing has been all but lost in our generation. While I am not opposed to messages of 140 characters or less, there is something deeply personal and powerful about a letter that cannot be conveyed in short bursts of communication. I know that I am in danger of sounding terribly old, but I still enjoy getting a letter – especially a handwritten letter – in the mail. Surveys of…
