Our October Itinerary
The words of Christ are as true today as they were nearly 2,000 years ago: “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2). As we come into the fall of the year I am praying that God will give us a great harvest of souls and an increase in laborers. Will you join me in that prayer? There is a reason why the laborers are scarce; the work of sowing, waiting, and reaping is not easy. The wheat harvest season in Palestine is a very hot and humid time of year. October is a busy month for special meetings in local churches. I hope you will be actively engaged in any special meetings in your own local church! There is nothing more encouraging than to see faithful people working together, praying together, and coming together to hear the Word of God. As you pray for the meetings where you are we would be very grateful if you would pray for us. A verse that has come to mean a great deal to me recently is 2 Corinthians 2:14.
