News About A New Booklet!

Have you wondered in recent weeks what more you can do for your country? On this President’s Day I am excited to announce the publication of a new booklet, The Need of Our Nation. We all are concerned about the direction of our beloved nation and burdened to see a spiritual awakening in our day. This short volume addresses, from God’s Word, the core issue and the only solution. President’s Day was originally set aside to commemorate the birthday of the first president of the United States. For believers, it is also a reminder to pray for our president every day (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Every president is just a man, and like every man, he is a sinner in need…

Christians Should Vote!

As Americans citizens we have been blessed – spoiled, in fact – to grow up in freedom. It is a freedom that few have enjoyed throughout history and many will never know. The blessings of God always come with a responsibility, a response of gratitude and obedience.  Christianity is not American, and being American is not Christian. Christians, the Constitution, and Our Country

A few days ago I put a copy of the United States Constitution in my briefcase as I left for a trip. A President’s Day Prayer

Today is President’s Day in the United States. In the war zone that is the American political system it is often easy to forget the spiritual conflict that is always raging. The enemy of souls is far greater than any perceived enemy on the other side of the aisle. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). I have deep convictions related to our republic and the moral issues of our day. But it is more than politics. It is spiritual. The greatest need of our country is another great awakening and we must never lose that burden.…

“Thank You For Loving Our Country With Me”

As you read this post I am ministering in another country. No matter where I travel in this world, I can boldly proclaim that God loves all people and Christ died for every man. Our heart for humanity must be bigger than one people group because God’s heart is! While it is a privilege to labor in other nations there is always something special about coming home. I love America. It is my country and it is a country that has been specially blessed by God. As we seek to reach the world with the gospel we must never neglect the mission field immediately around us… Pray for our country’s leaders (1 Timothy 2:14). Prayer is the most important work…
