Special Announcement About Our Trip to Israel
As most of you know we are looking forward to taking a group of friends to the land of the Bible. We have a great group of folks planning to travel and study God’s Word with us. I am personally excited about being there with family and friends. The tour was scheduled for this year, November 30 – December 9, 2020. With the current travel restrictions in place and concerns around the world it is now necessary for us to reschedule the trip for next year. The new dates for our Journey through the Land of the Bible tour will be Monday, November 29 – Wednesday, December 8, 2021. This is the exact same time frame as our original trip…

These are unusual and exciting days to be serving the Lord. I believe that revival is on the way and whatever God has to rearrange in all of our lives and ministries is up to Him. It is amazing how quickly things can change! As you read these words I am flying back to West Virginia from a wonderful mission conference in Florida. Like everyone we are having to make some unexpected adjustments to our schedule. The following meetings have now been cancelled due to the Coronavirus restrictions and an abundance of caution for the safety of those attending large gatherings: Iron Works Men’s Conference, Saturday, March 21, Charleston, WV. Florida Men’s Advance, Friday-Saturday, March 27-28, Tampa, FL. Fellowship Youth…

The last few weeks have been some of the busiest and most blessed we have seen in our evangelistic work. I know this is due to the Lord’s grace and the faithful prayers of so many people. With the intense schedule I have not posted as many articles as normal. We hope to return to that shortly! But I wanted to pass along a few answers to prayer and encourage you with what God is doing… The Lord has given a spirit of revival in a number of local churches in different parts of the country. I am often asked what we see frequently in churches. Right now there is a spiritual hunger among many of the Lord’s people. God…

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). Not every day is the same. In fact, in itinerant evangelism, every day is different! The schedule changes. The surroundings vary. But one thing is sure: every day is a gift from God, a day to give Him glory. This is not only true of the “big” days, the public days. It is also true on quiet, hidden days. The Lord works on the most ordinary, mundane days of our lives to fulfill His plan. We often think of Paul preaching on Mars Hill or planting a church in some great metropolis. But what of the days where he simply walked…

I have just returned home from several meetings. The Lord is blessing and we are grateful to be in His work. Over the last few days we have heard from so many precious people and have been reminded that we have faithful friends praying in many places. Thank you. Every three months we send out a special update regarding our family and the ministry God has given us. This quarterly newsletter is a good way for us to communicate blessings, prayer requests, and personal news to prayer partners and supporters. Our first quarter update for 2017 was just published this week. If you have not received it you may access it here. I hope it will be an encouragement to…

The last few days have been filled with so many wonderful memories…and so much expectation for the future! As we pulled out of Knoxville, Tennessee on Wednesday I reflected on how good God has been to us in that place. We rejoice that He is not bound by geography! In fact, He is not bound by anything. I have made the drive from east Tennessee to southern West Virginia many times in the last twenty-two years, but this time was different. We were leaving home for home. Thoughts of home have consumed my mind this week as we have unloaded and begun to settle in Beckley. Permit me to share a few of my thoughts… Home is the place God chooses…

Tomorrow we will finish our first month of full-time evangelistic work. The Lord has been so wonderful to us. We are truly grateful for many friends who have expressed interest in the work God has called us to do. I am increasingly aware of the need for intercessory prayer and want to thank you for praying for us. I am convinced that there is no problem in our nation that the gospel of Jesus Christ could not fix, and there is no need in our churches that a Heaven sent revival would not meet. These are exciting days to serve the Lord. We are laboring on the edge of eternity and time is short. In the opening weeks of 2016…
