A few weeks ago I picked up a copy of the Wall Street Journal in a hotel. As I was breezing quickly through the sections my eyes fell on something I could not believe. At the bottom of one page was an ad with this startling header: “THE BOOK THAT SAVES THE WORLD.” The advertisement was for a book written by a biologist. What About Eternity?

A friend and I were enjoying a time of fellowship together just a few days ago.  During the conversation I asked about a man who had been a pastor in the town where I was visiting.  The answer was all too familiar – he was no longer in the ministry but doing very well in business.
