Enjoying the Journey

These are unusual and exciting days to be serving the Lord. I believe that revival is on the way and whatever God has to rearrange in all of our lives and ministries is up to Him. It is amazing how quickly things can change! As you read these words I am flying back to West Virginia from a wonderful mission conference in Florida.

Like everyone we are having to make some unexpected adjustments to our schedule. The following meetings have now been cancelled due to the Coronavirus restrictions and an abundance of caution for the safety of those attending large gatherings:

  • Iron Works Men’s Conference, Saturday, March 21, Charleston, WV.
  • Florida Men’s Advance, Friday-Saturday, March 27-28, Tampa, FL.
  • Fellowship Youth Conference, Thursday-Friday, April 23-24, Durham, NC.

Each pastor and local church must decide what is best in their situation regarding public meetings at this time and I am fully supportive of whatever they believe is best for their people. There may be other adjustments as we move forward. These will be reflected on our itinerary and any changes will be posted to our Twitter and Facebook accounts.

We continue to pray and work toward the God Bless America rally later this year. Some schedule changes for the next few weeks will be announced shortly, but I want to encourage all of those involved to keep praying. This gospel crusade, planned for July, is going to be more timely than ever.

I look forward to helping as many pastors and churches as possible in these trying weeks. In the good providence of God we are studying through the Psalms on our daily Enjoying The Journey podcast. The Psalms help to build our faith and point us to the Lord alone as our hope. This is a good time to encourage new folks to listen. I am happy that though we cannot all gather as normal we can utilize these tools wherever we are.

Our family deeply appreciates your love and prayers. We are committed to continuing the work that God has given us to do. It is more crucial now than ever. I will be sending out our quarterly e-newsletter at the end of March and would love to pass it along to you. If you have not subscribed you may do so here.

May God bless you, your family, and your church family in these days! It is time to seek the Lord and share Him with others. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.

Tomorrow we will be posting a very special announcement about a new resource. Please watch for it and help us pass the news along to others. Thank you!
